Momma’s don’t let your babies grow up to be crackheads.
My mother teaches first grade. Friday one of her student’s mother overdosed and died. The child’s father is also dead. Sunday was Mother’s day. This six year old boy lost his mother two days before Mother’s day. I just think that is sad. So now he has no mother or father to look up to. He also has a four year old brother and a ten year old sister. I guess the grandparents are gonna have to raise them. I just am so grateful that my parents were responsible adults and weren’t selfish. I am happy they wanted me to become the best I could be and lead me by example. I probably overlooked this when I was growing up but only because I didn’t know any better. I am just blessed to have been born into a healthy, Christian, responsible, loving, giving family. I hope my kids will one day say the same about me.
