It’s like jumping in water but not wanting to get wet.

Real conversation today with a lady that walks into our nail shop:

Lady opens the door and steps in.

Me: Can I help you?

Lady: Oh, Nevermind. I can’t get my nails done.

Me: Ummm….ok.

Lady: I just can’t stand the smell of acrylic. I was just coming in to see if I could smell it.

Me: Ummm..ok….ummm….

Lady leaves.

Lady I am working on: Well. That’s like jumping in water and expecting not to get wet. I can’t believe somebody actually came into a nail shop expecting not to smell nails.

Me: Believe it. It just happened.
