No, no. Thank you a latte, City Brew.
Crossville doesn’t have a coffee shop. They have one little coffee shack that’s just a drive-thru. However, everything they serve is super delish. My favorite thing to order at any coffee place is a frozen chocolate chai, but I’ve discovered that few places have it. Poet’s in Cookeville was the first coffee shop I ever went to, and since it was on their menu, I guess I assumed that they were everywhere. Today, I drove up to City Brew’s tiny window and asked,
“Do you have frozen chai’s?
“Um, well. I guess I could blend one.”
“Can you do a frozen chocolate chai?”
“Well, I suppose so even though I’ve never heard of one.”
She didn’t know what to charge me, so it was rather expensive, but it was oh, so wonderful. I think maybe even better than Poet’s…which is extremely rare.
If I must say I do believe a ‘Thank you’ is in order since I am the one who told you about this wonderful little place. They also have the best smoothies ever. Now I want one really bad……
